The Hungarian Jesuit Refugee Service (JMSz) organises a day-care camp August 27 to 31. The purpose of the camp is to help for the children to get ready for the new school year. We await both refugee kids and those (at the age of 6-14) who would like to attend with them.
The site is the parish of Városmajor (1122 Budapest, Ignotus utca 9.), which easily accessible on foot form Széll Kálmán Square. If necessary, we can provide assistance in the transportation between your residence and the parish – on the basis of personal consultation. Please let us know at the application whether you require personal accompaniment or support for travel expenses.
The program of the camp runs from 9am to 1pm, it will be game, movement and artwork, and we will give them snack. Please take care of breakfast and lunch at home.
On the last day of the camp, on Friday 31st August, we welcome the children’s parents and family members for a collective celebration and closure. It runs from 11 am to 1 pm with a cold lunch.
The camp is limited in attendants (up to 20 people). We will provide information if the places are full. The deadline for application is August 20th. For the application, please CLICK HERE.
